OUR Junior Classes are specifically geared to children in 1st, 2nd & 3rd class of primary school

To get the most out of ITW we recommend that all our students take Creative Drama with ITW Dance as a basic membership package, in classes divided according to their school year.

ITW Members can add additional classes and avail of generous members only discounts for classes including Speech & Drama, Singing, andITW Dance Studio Classes

Designed specifically for a group setting, Junior singing classes expand on theory and repertoire. Emphasis is placed on correct breathing (intercostal diaphragmatic) and placement of the jaw, tongue, and mouth. Juniors work together on musical theatre and standard music,

Speech and Drama

Our Speech & Drama students soon become articulate, confident and expressive speakers. They are quicker to speak up in class and imaginative and focused. They show a wide range of vocabulary in English assignments and remember quotes and poems. They understand and enjoy all kinds of dramatic and literary forms and love to read and go to the theatre.

ITW Shakespeare Company

Our ITW Shakespeare Company have been awarded Gold School Status having taken part in The Shakespeare School Festivals for over 10 years. We have performed A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Merchant of Venice, Macbeth, Twelfth Night and Romeo & Juliet in recent years and we are delighted to have been selected again to participate in the Schools Shakespeare Festival 2023 - this time invited to perform in London.

ITW recitals

ITW Recitals take place twice a year. Our singing and speech and drama students perform the pieces the pieces they have been working on in our recitals at our inhouse recitals at Christmas and in Smock Alley Theatre in May.

Junior PRICES:

Junior Dance and Drama: €25 per week (Membership)

All fees are paid in 10 week Instalments three times per year in September, November, and February. Enrolment is for the full academic year.

Adding Singing or Speech & Drama to membership: Additional €14 per week

Singing or Speech & Drama Only: €18 per week (v small class sizes)

Adding an extra dance or creative drama class to membership: €11 per week

Dance Only: €14 per week

Drama Only: €14 per week

Musical Theatre: €200 per term

Mini Dance Company: €160 per term
