Our Inter Classes are specifically geared to children in 4th, 5th & 6th class

BOOKING FORM

To get the most out of ITW we recommend that all our students take Creative Drama with ITW Dance as a basic membership package, in classes divided according to their school year.

Other classes on offer for this age group include Speech & Drama, Jazz Dance, Singing, Musical Theatre, Vocal Vibes, Lyrical/Contemporary and Hip Hop

ITW Members can avail of generous members-only discounts for those additional classes.

We also have our fabulous Khan Dance Company for those who would like to dance competitively. Audition Info

Weekday and Sunday classes are available individually or as part of a bundle. 2 or more weekly classes at the non-member rate equals ITW Membership and allows further classes to be taken at the discounted members rate.

On Saturdays at ITW Clonskeagh individual classes are not available, and Saturday students are expected to take a combination of Creative Drama and ITW Dance (membership) and are welcome to add further classes at a discounted price. Our Drumcondra Saturday classes are available individually or as part of a bundle.

DANCE CLASSES FOR INTERS

The intermediate dance class in ITW is a fun dance class that focuses on technique and performance. In this class they get a taster of the various styles of dance Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary and Musical Theatre are some of the types of dance students learn.

Speech and Drama

Inter Singing 4th-6th Class

Inter level classes offer both group and solo work. Technique, breathing, and preparation for serious vocal training take precedence in the group warm up and theory work.

Inter Creative Drama gives the pre teens a place where they can explore their changing world and to develop their acting skills as they challenge, transform, improve and grow in confidence and ability

INTER PRICES:

INTER Dance and Creative Drama: €28 per week (Membership)

All fees are paid in 10 week Instalments three times per year in September, November, and February. Enrolment is for the full academic year.

Adding exam based Singing or Speech & Drama to membership: Additional €18.50 per week

Singing or Speech & Drama Only: €22 per week

Singing Club ‘Vocal Vibes’ €160 per term or €140 per term for Members

Inter Dance Only: €160 per term

Inter Drama Only: €160 per term

Specialist Dance classes (Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Hip Hop): €160 per term

Shakespeare Company: €220 participation fee

ITW Inter Dance Company/Elite Training: €25/€35 per week + competition and trip fees

Musical Theatre: €220 per term

Private Lessons (30 mins) with membership: €35 per week

Private Lessons (30 mins) without membership: €40 per week

Our performing companies– ITW Junior Shakespeare Company, ITW Senior Shakespeare Company, ITW Senior Musical Theatre Company, ITW Junior Musical Theatre Company, ITW Inter Dance Company and ITW Senior Dance Company are open only to ITW Members.

ITW Shakespeare Company

Our ITW Shakespeare Company have been awarded Gold School Status having taken part in The Shakespeare School Festivals for over 10 years. We have performed A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Merchant of Venice, Macbeth, Twelfth Night and Romeo & Juliet in recent years and we are delighted to have been selected again to participate in the Schools Shakespeare Festival 2023 - this time invited to perform in London.

ITW recitals

ITW Recitals take place twice a year. Our singing and speech and drama students perform the pieces the pieces they have been working on in our recitals at our inhouse recitals at Christmas and May.

SCHOOL TERMS & DATES

Our classes run Sept to May in line with the Primary School Schedule with fees payable in 3 instalments (September, November, and February.) 30 weeks in total. Enrolment is for the full academic year.

We close for bank holiday weekends and school holidays. Holiday courses are often available during these times.

WHAT TO WEAR

The ITW Uniform is an ITW T Shirt And Hoodie (worn with black)
Leggings/tracksuit bottoms
Plimsolls / Dance Shoes for Dance and Drama.
These can all be purchased at ITW or via our Online Shop.
For everything else, we recommend picking up your dance wear from Dance World (Ranelagh, Parnell Street & online!)
