Our Senior Musical Theatre Class! With a fantastic jam packed schedule of performances and workshops for the coming year starting with our first production of the year ‘Come From Away’
We will start with our first production “Come From Away” based on the musical Come From Away that will be performed in at the end November. This will be a 12 week process so all hands will be on deck! Auditions are be filled with fun and laughter. You will have to sing a verse and a chorus of a musical theatre song and we will play some fun drama games with you as well. If you don’t want to perform ... don’t worry! We would love to have you working on all aspects behind the scenes with our team.
We also want our company to be an educational place so that everyone can learn about theatre as well as taking part in it. For the second term we will be working on our second production ‘The Promposal’ which will be performed at the end of the ITW Academic Year.
If you have ever wanted to direct, choreograph, write or even just preform a character now is your chance! Mentors will be coming in to work with you on this process. These mentors will either currently be working in the business or else studying to be by the time you enter it in the future yourself!
You do have to have ITW Membership (be enrolled for at least one ITW Dance and one Drama class a week) in order to join the Company and then just book for our Senior Musical Theatre Society to become part of our fun musical family. This company is a fun family that gives you the chance to grow and make friends.
This year has been structured to ease stress on exams so please don’t rule Musical Theatre out if you're in sixth year.
